Favourite Celebrity Wedding Gowns

Following the recent royal wedding, which, by now, we've all heard enough of, I thought I'd wax lyrical about some of my favourite wedding gowns of celebrities. We've seen enough tinseltown train wrecks, but sometimes, they clean up just right for their big day.

Reese Witherspoon
I loved the corseted look with the lace details cause its simply romantic and I am a huge fan of lace therefore I was extremely attracted to that gown.

Gwen Stefani


I absolutely loved it with the touch of pink to kick it up a notch, I loved how the neckline draped on her, it was not perfect and it looked “raw” I absolutely love her veil cause again it has lace on it.





Donald Trump’s latest wife (LOL!) Melania
I love the luxurious use of silk duchess satin and the extreme mermaid cut on the gown as well as the details on the bottom of the gown, it does not have lace nor beads but the pleats and the sheen on the gown is beautiful.

I really wished she did not do her hair the way she did and had the veil over power her gown.







Ivana Trump


Vera Wang out did herself for Ivaka Trump’s gown, it was so romantic and the french chantily lace was so beautiful, I am usually not a Vera Wang fan but this piece I have to say is Divine and it draped on her so beautifully.


Nicole Richie
The bodice is definitely inspired by Grace kelly’s wedding gown and once again it has lace and I am huge fan of lace and the bottom is like a swan and its really girly with an edgy cut to the tulle bottom making it really interesting rather than ballerina and it was a clever cut that is “convertible” when you remove the skirt it has a different silhouette to it.
